Palm Beach County Luxury Homes

John Holland | January 12, 2016

Palm Beach is filled with luxury homes, many of which are located on the water. One upscale neighborhood is Captain’s Key, which is located on a series of interior waterways that allow residents to access the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway. These waterways are both convenient and scenic- imagine looking out your window every day to see a sparkling canal. This neighborhood is only a few miles from Gardens Mall and other shopping and dining areas, such as Downtown at the Gardens. This plaza includes several landscaped outdoor areas as well as a Whole Foods, a movie theater, and more. It is the perfect place to go for a night out or an afternoon shopping.

The North Palm Beach Country Club real estate is popular for many of the same reasons. The canal front homes offer easy access to the inlet and Intracoastal Waterway. The community does not have any fixed bridges, making it an ideal place to live if you dream of owning a sailboat. In addition to the nearby waterway, residents of the Country Club are welcome to take advantage of a community pool.

Another well respected luxury communities is Indian Hills. These homes vary dramatically in size, ranging from 3 to 9 bedrooms. The larger properties have two bedroom guesthouses in the backyard – perfect for long term out of town guests or additional rental income. This community also features homes with backyard swimming pools and private docks. Indian Hills is located right across the street from Jupiter Hills Golf Club, making these homes perfect for boaters and golf lovers! Also nearby is the Jonathan Dickenson State Park. This park includes fun activities for the whole family, such as canoe, kayak, and stand up paddle board rentals. If you want to learn more about the indigenous plant and animal life, the park also offers guided boat and horse drawn carriage tours. There is always something to see or do in Palm Beach County!

Luxury Homes in Palm Beach County

The luxury homes in Palm Beach County are split between vacation homes and full time residences. South Florida is the perfect place to escape the cold northern winters. Many retirees from New England choose to become snowbirds, traveling south for the winter and spending the summers in their primary residence up north. The warm climate allows residents to enjoy outdoor activities year round. South Florida is ideal for hiking, biking, boating, fishing, and golfing. Many of the luxury communities are centered around a beach, marina, or golf course.
